Planned Parenthood of Orange & San Bernardino Counties has been reaching out with the most innovative means to address questions and problems facing today’s teens. Our Online Chat, (www.plannedparenthood.chat.com); our Toll Free Hotline (1-877-4ME-2ASK), and our NEW Text Messaging Hotline offer some of the most advanced ways of connecting with teens who otherwise may not find the help they desperately need. Our hotlines allow users to talk anonymously with Planned Parenthood Health Educators in real time. This provides the confidentiality, and expert advice they seek.
 
This year we hope to raise funds to support our new Text Messaging Hotline, which allows users to text their sexual health questions to our Health Educators and receive immediate answers. Your support will allow us to open this hotline 24 hours a day so that teens can get any question answered -- anytime, anywhere.  You can try out this new program by texting a sexual health question to 6-1-8-2-7.
 
Innovative health education programs such as these reach thousands of people annually. They are an essential tool to fulfill Planned Parenthood’s mission. It empowers teens to make responsible choices, helps in preventing unintended pregnancies and reduces the spread of sexually transmitted infections.
