Our health education programs are designed to prevent unintended pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections by providing people with honest, medically accurate information. They include:
BetterThanSexED hotlines. Confidential, real-time answers to
questions about sexual behavior, reproductive health, birth control
methods, sexually transmitted infections, and communicating with partners
and parents.
Young Women’s Health Conference. An annual educational outreach event that helps hundreds of at-risk teens explore pregnancy prevention, body image and nutrition, and healthy relationships.

Peer Education Program. Local teens break the cycle of
misinformation by talking openly, honestly, and accurately with friends and
classmates about healthy relationships, contraception, sexuality, informed
decision-making, and sexually transmitted diseases.

Over the past 11 years, this event has raised more than half a million dollars for teen education. Proceeds from Haute Wired and Hilarious will provide real, straight-forward answers to the questions today’s teens are asking by expanding Planned Parenthood’s Peer Educator Program. This teen-to-teen initiative empowers young men and women to talk honestly, openly, and accurately with friends and classmates about healthy relationships, sexuality, and informed decision-making. These peer educators will be the ones to clear up locker room rumors and dispel myths on campus and in our community.
